arc Mask Wearing Policy 2022

Published: 16/09/2002

In sync with the new guidelines therapists/instructors and clients are not required to wear masks.

Therapists/instructors are sometimes in close contact with clients in closed space treatment rooms. Therapists/instructors will have a conversation with their client(s) at the start of the session so that it can be decided together what is agreeable with regard to mask wearing during the session.

Staff and clients may also choose to wear a mask for part the part of any session that takes place in a closed treatment room if unventilated, or in instances of working near the face. They may decide to remove the mask in more spacious areas of the building (eg. the studio space) or in more ventilated locations.

The studios are well ventilated and have the air purifiers. So it is up to each individual whether they would like to wear a mask or not.

We recommend mask wearing if:

  • If you or a client are a household contact

  • Client (or yourself) is at risk of severe illness

  • Are wanting to reduce the risk of becoming unwell
