STUDIO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When registering as a client at arc Wellness Studios, Wellington, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out here and on the Arc Wellness Studios website www.arcwellness.nz.
arc Wellness studios is an inclusive space. We will not tolerate any kind of discrimination or behaviour that creates a hostile and unpleasant environment for staff or members.
We endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, however classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Teachers are also subject to change without notice.
Out of consideration for the teacher and other clients we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before class.
If a class you would like to attend is fully booked, please sign up for the waiting list. Should a place become available then you will be added automatically before the scheduled class. If you are on the waitlist, we assume you are ready to come to class. Any cancellations after being added to a waitlist will be as per our cancellation policy (see below). Please monitor your waitlist the same way you manage your bookings.
A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You will be contacted via app notification, text, phone or email should a class be cancelled and your session will be credited back to your account.
Sessions are not transferable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions.
Bookings are to be made via the arc Wellness Studios Mindbody app, the arc Wellness Studio website or in the studio.
To book into a class you must either have credit in your account or pay at the time of booking. Class payment must be made upon booking. Classes are on a first come first serve basis and can be booked in advance.
arc Wellness Studios is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
arc Wellness Studios has the right to refuse entry at any time. Owners and/or teachers reserve the right to direct clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; and owners and/or teachers reserve the right to turn clients away for any reason they deem necessary.
It is your sole responsibility to check with your doctor or medical practitioner about your suitability for our classes and to obtain his/her written consent where necessary. While we take every care to ensure safe practices, there are inherent risks in any exercise program and we accept no liability whatsoever for any injury or illness you incur through our classes or by your failure to notify us of any existing health problems or special needs.
If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent or guardian’s permission before you make a booking. You are not allowed to provide us with any personal information (for example, your email address, and payment details) or to make a booking without such consent.
Please inform your teacher(s) about any change in my medical condition as soon as you become aware of it.
All care but no responsibility will be taken, and clients exercise at their own risk. Arc Wellness Studios is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio.
By booking into a class, you automatically agree to the above terms & conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Class cancellations are the responsibility of the person booking the class and can be made via the Mindbody App or Mindbody website.
Class cancellations can be made up to 16 hours prior to your class start time without penalty. Clients using a Casual, or Class Concession who pre-book a class but fail to attend or cancel the booking less than 16 hours prior to the class start time will forfeit their class.
Cancellations will not be accepted on social media or text message.
PRICING
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars ($NZD) and all transactions are processed in New Zealand Dollars ($NZD).
Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors.
Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits.All purchases are final. arc Wellness Studios does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on services, courses or products for change of mind, change of address or any other reason. We will consider extensions on class concessions upon sudden injury or illness with a medical certificate.
All concessions are non-transferable.
arc Wellness reserves the right to bill the client the cost of any additional bank fees which may incur from disputed or failed transactions regarding a clients account.
Declined Payments – A penalty fee may be incurred for declined payments through the Mindbody booking system. This fee is set by Mindbody’s payment provider, Ezidebit, not Arc Wellness Studios. Arc Wellness studios does not receive any funds from penalty fees received by Ezidebit. Any queries or disputes by clients regarding declined payment penalty fees need to be directed to Ezidebit.
CLASS CONCESSIONS
Casual class concessions are valid for 30 days from purchase date.
Class concessions are valid for 3 months after first purchase.
Concession extensions are only available upon sudden illness or injury, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. Session packs are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Concessions cannot be shared. Any non-cancellations, no show or absence will result in forfeiting that visit. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 16 hours of class start time, you will be charged for the class.
MEMBERSHIPS (Contracts)
Your Credit or Debit card is debited weekly before your first class. If you are on a Membership Contract for multiple classes per week, your weekly Membership fee will be debited from your Credit or Debit card before your first class of each week.
Regular class/classes must be booked ongoing. Make-up classes are available for 14 days if a booking is cancelled with 16 hours notice. We can not guarantee availability of suitable class times. 16 hour Cancellation Policy applies.
Membership Holidays: Available for breaks of greater than 2 weeks with 2 weeks notice by email.
Termination of Membership: 1 month notice must be given by email before ceasing the Membership. Minimum 1 month term.
No refunds are available.Please note Credit or Debit Card fees not included in prices.
GIFT CARDS
Gift Cards can be used to for classes or merchandise at Arc Wellness Studios
Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable
arc Wellness Studios does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on Gift Cards for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.
We accept no responsibility if a card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission.
Gift Cards may be purchased online or in the studio.
